Ahh, the joys of fall! It's finally cooling off and the leaves are looking so pretty. The only downside that I can see is this: RAIN. ugh! Does anyone else really hate rain? It ruins my plans to picnic outside or go for a walk or even work at a fair for a class project (obviously the last one is definitely NOT hypothetical). So instead I am chilling out inside.
I was thinking though, what happens when our plans change? It might not be the weather that causes it to change, but a myriad of other things can cause our plans to change or be averted. I for one do not like change. As a planner, (I am a bit type A at times) I want everything to go according to the plan and I don't like spontaneous events. This is one of those things I need to get over. It's interesting though, usually when my plans do get changed it ends up being a really good thing. Often times the spontanious event is much better than the event I had origionally planned for. How awesome is that? I think sometimes the laws of nature are conspiring against me (or for me, depending on how you look at it) to throw off my plans to stretch me and make me a more flexible person.
So, enjoy the first evening of fall and go dance in the rain or something. It may even be better than the plans you made to do something else tonight.
Bring on the rain!!
